Scheduling your project can vary depending on if the material used is commonly stocked by our suppliers or if the project is more customized. We generally can schedule your project within two weeks of contract signing.
Chain link fencing has zero maintenance. However, most HOA’s do not permit chain-link. Aluminum fencing is another great option for very low maintenance and is permitted by many more HOA’s. Vinyl fencing is a great option but can mildew over time and would need to be cleaned. Wood fencing is a natural product, and is guaranteed to warp and twist over time.
A homeowner’s survey is the first place recommended to start the inquiry. Each time a property is sold, the survey is updated and should have the property fence marked. We can help the homeowner review the survey and see if the fence is marked. We also have a tool that can find the property pins and locate if the fence is within the property line. One can assume if the fence is within the property line and encompasses all four sides, it belongs to that homeowner, but you can always check with your neighbors to make sure.
We typically advise the customer to keep the fence level on the top, which would cause a gap at the bottom which could be filled in with dirt. If the customer decides they want the fence to follow the grade of the land-maybe they have a dog they want to keep in, we would use grade strings to run the fence contour to the land, but the top of the fence would not be level.
